Draws by clear rules

For tête-à-tête, doublette and triplette, BoulX draws by ranking from the second round on: teams with the same number of wins play each other wherever possible. BoulX takes earlier pairings and byes already given into account. If no draw can meet these rules, BoulX tells you instead of creating an invalid pairing.

In a mêlée, teams are reshuffled every round.

Different formats

Run mêlées with teams reshuffled every round, tête-à-tête, doublette or triplette. A knockout phase can be added if you wish.

For the ranking you choose one of four systems: wins, then point difference; wins, then points scored; wins only; or bonus points.

Live schedule and results – no app needed

On site, players open the schedule in their browser via a QR code. If the tournament director turns it on, they report their own result; it counts once the director has confirmed it.

That way the tournament director keeps the overview without having to enter every result themselves.

Manage members easily

Invite members by email or import an entire member list in one go. Give people the right roles, for example as tournament director or helper.

With the app, the whole club stays up to date

Everything is stored centrally. Every device in the club shows the same current state.

For this, the desktop version needs internet access, for example the clubhouse Wi-Fi or a phone.

A page of your own for your club

Your club page is at boulx.ch/club/your-handle. It shows the next tournament and can be shared, for example on a flyer or in the club chat.

Four languages

BoulX supports German, French, Italian and English. The languages are available in the app, on the tournament pages and in emails.

The server and database are located in Switzerland.
